The facility includes two Linear Accelerators, and allows Radio Therapy Treatment for Darling Downs cancer patients without the need for travel to Brisbane.
The new buildings also incorporate a Medical Oncology Treatment area, Medical Specialist Suites, a General Practice Suite and a Retail Pharmacy.

Ashburner Francis designed the electrical, mechanical and fire protection systems for the Centre.
